Job Title: Business Architect Location: Qatar (Onsite) Job Type: Contract 1 Year Language: Arabic Mandatory Experience: 5+ Years Certification: TOGAF Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to develop and refine business architecture frameworks that align organizational goals with technology and data strategies. The role involves analyzing and improving business processes, services, and performance indicators to ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to design future-state architectures that enable transformation and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Business Architecture Development:
- Analyze and document current-state business processes, services, and organizational structures.
- Develop future-state business architecture, including services, policies, strategies, and performance indicators.
- Conduct gap analyses and design transition maps for achieving the desired state.
- Collaborate with domain specialists to ensure alignment with overall business and enterprise architecture.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for business processes and services.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to define priorities, align objectives, and clarify dependencies.
- Ensure stakeholder needs are accurately represented in business architecture designs.
- Governance and Standards:
- Establish and enforce business architecture standards and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, strategies, and frameworks.
- Support the validation of business architecture components within enterprise architecture tools.
- Adopt best practice business process classification frameworks.
- Business Process Optimization:
- Apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to optimize existing processes.
- Support the design and implementation of technology solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Model business processes using BPMN or UML for clarity and alignment.
- Integration with Enterprise Architecture:
- Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure architects for seamless business architecture integration.
- Ensure business architecture components are accurately represented in enterprise architecture tools (e.g., Orbus iServer).
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document business architecture components, including processes, services, policies, and performance metrics.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress.
- Maintain an up-to-date repository of business architecture components.
- Conduct business research and prepare reports for executives.
- Strategic Alignment:
- Align business architecture initiatives with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and propose strategies to enhance performance.
- University graduate in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business architecture or related roles.
- Proven track record of working on large-scale transformation or public-sector projects.
- Local Qatar knowledge and experience is a plus.
- TOGAF certification is a plus.
- Additional certifications such as CBAP, BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, or Zachman are desirable.
- DAMA certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, UML).
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools (e.g., Orbus iServer, Sparx EA, or Aris).
- Ability to design target operating models and transition roadmaps.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and team collaboration abilities.
- Arabic native, proficiency in English is required.
- Hands-on experience with business architecture modeling and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Qatar Enterprise Architecture GEA is a plus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application architects, data architects, and process owners.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Frequent external stakeholder meetings and workshops are expected.
