Power BI Specialist
Job details
The Power BI Specialist will develop and manage interactive dashboards and reports focusing on financial calculations, procurement strategies, and actionable insights. This role involves data modeling, visualization, and integration to support decision-making processes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design advanced Power BI dashboards for financial metrics (profit and loss, cash flow) and procurement strategies (supplier performance, spend analysis).
- Create data models, implement DAX calculations, and deliver accurate and visually compelling reports.
- Develop reports on procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and cost optimization.
- Extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases and cloud platforms.
- Build automated data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to dashboards and reports to reflect organizational changes and new insights.
- Provide troubleshooting support for Power BI tools and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Lead training sessions for team members to enhance their Power BI proficiency and adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Power BI or SQL certifications (preferred).
- 5 years in Power BI development with expertise in financial and procurement dashboards.
- Proficient in DAX, SQL, and data modeling.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms and data integration strategies.
- Advanced Power BI, Power Apps, and SQL skills.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics and procurement KPIs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX functions.
- Proficiency in using cloud data tools.
