Job Responsibilities:
- To contribute to generating sales for our company by closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
- To market the consumable base of GCG and sell the consumables to GCG & Non-GCG clients whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Update the list of prospective customers on a regular basis from new machine installations and other Non-GCG client base through Internet/Telephone Directory and existing customers of GCG.
- Approach new customers and market the consumable products available with GCG and various offers.
- Proactively check other sources of business, i.e., tenders and leads from engineers and other staff and approach them.
- Mark the customers into green, yellow, and red categories and make regular follow-ups.
- Ensure optimal customer satisfaction at all stages.
- Receive the consumables/lower-end machine inquiry directly from the customer Contract Coordinator or sales department.
- Submit the quotation from the price list to the customer for third-party consumable items.
- Receive the approved quotation or the LPO from the customer.
- Properly check the contract status of approved quotations and LPO received from customers. Validate all the terms and conditions.
- Input the order in the system as a quotation for required approvals.
- Monitor and check the stock levels of items required and request the logistics coordinator to order the items with the approval of the Service Manager.
- If the GCG credit controller blocks the order, proactively approach the client with previous pending payments and arrange to clear them with constant follow-up.
- Once the order is released, ensure all items are delivered to the client.
- Make a courtesy call to the requestor and build trust & confidence with the client.
- Should always be self-driven and keep searching for new prospects.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
