Job Description AECOM are currently seeking a consultant to join our Strategy team. Strategy, which forms part of our Advisory business, operates at the intersection of Business Transformation, Human Dynamics, and Place Strategies. We are looking for highly motivated applicants who possess outstanding analytical, communication, and creative skills. As an Associate, you will undertake the delivery of complex projects across the full spectrum of advisory activities under minimal direction while managing a team and leading one or more project teams delivering consulting services across a cross-section of areas. At Strategy, you will have the opportunity to work with a team on exciting projects across areas including Strategy Development, Operations Improvement, Business Transformation, and Space Planning. Our Strategy team goes beyond traditional management consulting by helping clients realize their vision on large infrastructure projects by combining management consulting with design and engineering principles. The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary team of talented consultants and be responsible for supporting our state-of-the-art consulting projects. Our clients are located throughout the region, and this individual may be required to travel up to 50% of the time. Other practice areas within our Advisory business include Asset Project Monitoring, P3 Technical Risk Management, Program Procurement and Construction, and Business Intelligence services, allowing the successful candidate an opportunity to collaborate across our Advisory team and advise our clients on a wide range of projects across built asset and infrastructure sectors. Desirable Knowledge and Expertise Candidates will be expected to possess deep expertise in one or more of the following:
- Business strategy, data analytics, and operations planning.
- Business Process Development and Improvement.
- Creating and delivering change management strategies and organizational development plans.
- Expertise in user research, design strategy, and space programming.
- Design background in architecture, business, IT/IS planning, interiors, product, or web design.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Visio, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, data manipulation, and analytics.
- Web-based data analytics, visualization, and presentation software.
- Project management, project work planning, scheduling, and resource deployment.
- Business development, market planning, and client relationships.
- Space programming, user research, design strategy, and conceptual design.
- Revit, GIS, Python, or other space planning/design CAD systems.
- Highly collaborative, highly communicative, creative team leader.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, Design Storytelling.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, open, creative environment.
- Ability to lead workshops, focus groups, and presentations.
- Critical thinking and persuasive writing skills.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and processes.
- High degree of flexibility and the ability to lead multiple projects in multiple teams across multiple markets.
- Lead and deliver all aspects of services from inception of a project through to completion.
- Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.
- Drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process and AECOM technical practice networks.
- Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, taking every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional premium quality services to the construction industry.
- Actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.
- As an Associate, you will also be actively involved in developing marketing opportunities and, where appropriate, bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department, enabling the development of new business.

- Minimum 12 years relevant post-education experience.
- Bachelors and preferably masters degree in business, public policy, economics, computer science, architecture, planning, design, social science, or another relevant field.
