Job Description: AtkinsRalis is a renowned global consultancy and engineering company seeking an experienced Architect to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong site operations experience and a proven track record in delivering high-quality architectural solutions in both consultancy and construction environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning : Collaborate with clients and project teams to develop architectural concepts and detailed designs that align with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Site Operations Management : Oversee the execution of architectural work onsite, ensuring designs are accurately translated into construction. Monitor and inspect the quality of construction work, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Consultancy Expertise : Provide expert consultancy services on architectural matters including feasibility studies, site assessments, and compliance checks. Ensure that designs comply with local and international building regulations, environmental standards, and sustainability practices.
- Project Coordination : Work closely with other consultants (structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure integrated project delivery. Lead the architectural design process from concept through to construction completion.
- Client Interaction : Maintain strong client relationships ensuring that expectations are met and that the project is delivered to satisfaction. Provide regular updates and communicate effectively with clients regarding design developments and site progress.
- Quality Control : Supervise site execution and inspections ensuring adherence to architectural specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Team Leadership : Manage a team of architects, junior designers, and technical staff onsite to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Documentation & Reporting : Prepare reports, project documentation, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Educational Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture including significant experience in site operations and consultancy .
- Proven expertise in handling high-profile architectural projects within the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong understanding of local building codes , regulations, and sustainability standards in the UAE.
- Experience with project management overseeing the execution of design work from concept to completion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.) and other architectural tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in architecture and construction.
- Previous experience with leading global consultancy firms or contractors in a similar capacity.
- Familiarity with international standards and practices in architectural design and construction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building certifications (e.g. LEED, BREEAM).
