We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer Drainage to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex drainage systems for large infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient and sustainable water management solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the design of drainage systems for large-scale infrastructure and development projects.
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses to optimize drainage solutions.
- Manage project teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international drainage standards and regulations.
- Implement innovative and sustainable drainage practices, including green infrastructure solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and design drawings.
- Provide expert guidance on stormwater management and flood mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycles.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Participate in business development activities and proposal preparation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering or related field preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in drainage engineering with a focus on urban drainage systems and stormwater management.
- Advanced knowledge of drainage system design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for complex problem-solving.
- Excellent project management abilities, including budget and schedule control.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective report writing and presentations.
- In-depth understanding of local and international drainage standards and regulations.
- Expertise in sustainable drainage practices and green infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
