We leverage AI and influencer-driven content to make travel discovery and planning effortless. Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to manage inbound and outbound customer inquiries, respond to leads generated and convert the potential customer to generate bookings for the platform. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to drive sales growth while enhancing backend operations . Key Responsibilities Sales and Customer Management:
- Handle inbound leads and respond promptly to customer inquiries through email, chat, phone, or social media.
- Understand customer needs and convert leads into bookings for stays and trips.
- Build strong relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and addressing their queries effectively.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services or upgrades to enhance the customer experience.
- Accurately log customer interactions, inquiries, and bookings in the CRM system.
- Contribute ideas to improve the onboarding process, sales strategies, and backend operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Gather customer and influencer feedback to help improve Gumo’s offerings and user experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and sales interactions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers, influencers, property owners, and team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
- Interest in travel trends, influencer marketing, and backend operations.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets for data entry and organization.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on challenges in a dynamic startup environment.
- Previous experience in sales, or tele sales in Travel
- Familiarity with backend operations, database management, or social media platforms.
