Project Controls Analyst – Insight Global Evergreen Supporting PG&E Location: Remote in Bay Area, occasional meeting in Oakland or San Ramon Project Type: 12-Month Contract (Ongoing) Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with P6 (Primavera) or similar software for project scheduling
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
- Advanced Excel skills with focus on financial analysis and reporting
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting financial information to stakeholders
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
- Previous experience at PG&E or similar utility companies
- Background in utility industry financial operations
- Experience with enterprise-scale reporting systems
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in the utility sector
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making
- Create, update and maintain P6 schedules
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and month-end close processes
- Prepare financial analyses and presentations for management review
- Monitor and track project financials, including budgets, actuals, and forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial controls and reporting procedures
- Collaborate with business partners to understand financial requirements and deliver solutions
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter mentality with excellent time management skills
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to build effective working relationships in a remote setting
