Project Control Analyst

Project Controls Analyst – Insight Global Evergreen Supporting PG&E Location: Remote in Bay Area, occasional meeting in Oakland or San Ramon Project Type: 12-Month Contract (Ongoing) Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience with P6 (Primavera) or similar software for project scheduling
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
• Advanced Excel skills with focus on financial analysis and reporting
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting financial information to stakeholders

• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
• Previous experience at PG&E or similar utility companies
• Background in utility industry financial operations
• Experience with enterprise-scale reporting systems
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in the utility sector

• Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making
• Create, update and maintain P6 schedules
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and month-end close processes
• Prepare financial analyses and presentations for management review
• Monitor and track project financials, including budgets, actuals, and forecasts
• Develop and maintain financial controls and reporting procedures
• Collaborate with business partners to understand financial requirements and deliver solutions

• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
