We are seeking a Workforce Analyst to join Human Resources, People Services, Administrative Division. As a Workforce Analyst, you will have a strong understanding of human resources practices to provide meaningful HR metrics, workforce information, and analytics to key University stakeholders. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of current and emerging business requirements. With a strong aptitude in business and workforce analysis, including data-driven reporting, you will prepare meaningful data to contribute to evidence-based workforce decisions and strategy. Your attention to detail and ability to identify data patterns and areas for improvement are highly valued. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, sound reasoning, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions and efficiencies.
- Ability to develop and generate analytical reports and derive meaningful insights.
- Ability to identify data and workforce patterns and trends from complex data.
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative and qualitative analysis and insights to non-technical clients (especially Executive Leadership) and advise on the application of workforce analytics.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients (especially Executive Leadership) to support them in their endeavours to make insight-based decisions.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, take direction, and shift priorities in a rapidly changing working environment.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in data collation/collection, analysis, presentation, and communication.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in using Excel and Business Objects for analysis and data visualisation.
