The company has grown significantly from its humble beginnings in the 1980s. As a result of the continued business growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, you will be joining a team of financial superstars and responsible for preparing management reports for the Executive team. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Reporting and analysing top line revenue and bottom-line profit and key operating expenses and cashflow
- Analysis of monthly financial statements against budget and company and department KPI measures
- Prepare trading company and group's budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing adhoc Management reports as required
- Analysing and documenting existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing streamlined and efficient solutions
- Collecting, organising, and analysing relevant data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision making and inform business strategies.
- Assessing the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and personnel, and developing strategies to manage and mitigate potential risks and resistance to change
- Assisting project managers in defining project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, and providing ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstratable experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economy or Accounting required
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret complex documents
- Capable of applying intermediate mathematical concepts where required
- Ability to communicate with senior management
- Chartered Financial Analyst and Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification required
