About The Role: Reporting to the Planning and Warehouse Superintendent, the Repairable and Warranty Officer plays a vital role in connecting Maintenance Planning, Warehousing, and Engineering. This position focuses on maintaining the serviceability and availability of repairable items, managing warehouse processes, and engaging with vendors to ensure high-quality repairs and effective warranty claims. Role Responsibilities:
- Support compliance with the Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) while fostering a positive safety culture within the maintenance team.
- Assist in managing repairable equipment processes, working collaboratively with Engineering to meet quality, compliance, and equipment life expectations.
- Provide support in vendor management for repairable items, including tracking work orders, ensuring traceability, and maintaining quality of supply.
- Help oversee warehouse inventory by monitoring new and rebuilt stock levels and supporting accurate issue and receipting processes.
- Collaborate with execution teams to facilitate the return of rebuildable items to the warehouse and assist with data analysis for warranty claims.
- Apply strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in mining, heavy industrial environments, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to multitask, coordinate projects, and maintain attention to detail while following processes.
- Team-oriented with a strong safety focus, open to new ideas, and committed to continuous improvement.
