As a part of the Bay Building Group, which has been operating nationally for 35+ years, we have specialised in restoration works to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage. About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced person to join our dynamic team to further lead, develop and grow our QLD restoration business. The successful applicant requires experience across both site-based restoration projects and restoration management. The ideal candidate should also have current relationships with industry contacts, across either or both the insurance and or facility management restoration industries. Position Purpose: The Restoration State Manager oversees a Restoration team who are required to deliver restoration outcomes for multiple small, medium to large domestic and commercial restoration projects within the Insurance and Facility Management industries. The Restoration State Manager will oversee multiple staff (and their assigned project outcomes) and is ultimately responsible for site-based estimating and supervision work and the wider operational management of the business, such as quality assurance, timeliness, safety and the regions business commercials outcomes (P&L). The Restoration State Manager will also work alongside a national team who support national clients, from a project coordination perspective, with this team being managed by the restoration operations manager. The Team of direct reports includes state based project coordinators, internal technicians and partner contractors. Key Relationships:

- Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, and all construction related trades and suppliers

- Interpersonal skills to deal with both internal and external customers building long term relationships
- People management skills to effectively lead and drive team outcomes
- Able to develop business through quality service delivery
- Experience in the insurance repair industry is essential
- Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements
- Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
- Track record of establishing and maintaining long term relationships/accounts
- Previous experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders at different levels
- Proven Business Development experience within the Insurance industry.
