We are seeking new directors to join the Hockey New Zealand Board. Hockey in New Zealand is a truly gender-equal sport with a history of participation growth and success on the world stage, and Hockey New Zealand is hockey's national sporting organisation, with responsibility for the leadership of the hockey system in New Zealand. We are seeking applications for four Board director positions:
- One male appointed Board Member
- Two female elected Board members (to be elected at the April Annual General Meeting)
- One male elected Board member (to be elected at the April Annual General Meeting)
- Experience with and understanding of the commercialisation of sport's assets
- Knowledge of and experience in the development of sporting systems from grass roots to elite
- Experience with philanthropy - fund raising, major donor development, fund management
- Finance and risk management
- Board leadership experience

- Candidates will need to seek the support of a Hockey Association who is a member of Hockey New Zealand, to nominate you for election, at Hockey New Zealand's Annual General Meeting, Monday 29 April.
- You will need to submit a completed nomination form accompanied by your CV and cover letter to Christina Tombs at tombs@hockeynz.co.nz.
- Upon nomination, candidate suitability will also be assessed by the Board Appointments Panel.
