Tauranga Girls’ College is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and adaptive Homestay Manager to join our International Department. This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week commencing 19 May 2025.
Role Requirements:
- Excellent people skills to enable the building of strong relationships with a wide range of people and provide effective pastoral care to our international students.
- A high level of cultural awareness and understanding of the challenges cultural differences can raise.
- Ability to communicate with Agents, Natural Parents, Home Stay families, and the school community.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and maintain a calm and professional manner.
- Good administrative skills, including proven competence with the Google Suite and other IT related packages; training will be provided for student databases and social media platforms.
- Assist and attend international department off-site activities and trips.
- A full driver's licence with the ability to drive a school van when required.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive and proactive attitude, self-starter.
