Procurement Manager

Candidate should have 3 years experience in Procurement with a B-Tech (Hons.) Mechanical Degree. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strong drawing study and ability to evaluate BOQ from drawings.
2. Create procurement plans based on production plans, material demand, and indent.
3. Develop procurement budgets as per procurement plans.
4. Obtain quotations from potential suppliers and create comparative statements.
5. Negotiate with suppliers and issue purchase orders to the most suitable suppliers.
6. Follow up for timely material delivery.
7. Stay updated with material quality issues and implement measures to resolve them.
8. Ensure documentation is completed in parallel to material supply.
9. Reconcile ledgers of the organization and suppliers.
10. Ensure timely payments to suppliers.
11. Maintain a material sourcing sheet.
12. Prequalify potential suppliers.
13. Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers.
14. Update potential suppliers regarding future demands.
15. Maintain inventory levels to avoid material shortages.
16. Coordinate with the production department to meet any material urgencies.
