- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing detailed production plans and schedules for each Shipbuilding project, aligning with project deadlines and customer requirements.
- Managing workflow across different production stages, including hull construction, outfitting, machinery installation and final finishing.
- Monitoring progress against schedules and identifying potential bottlenecks to proactively address issues.
- Allocating workforce, materials and equipment efficiency across various production areas to optimize productivity.
- Coordinating with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and components.
- Managing subcontractor relationships and overseeing their work quality.
- Implementing strict quality control procedures throughout the Shipbuilding process to meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Overseeing quality inspections and testing at each stage of construction.
- Identifying and addressing quality issues promptly to prevent rework.
- Prioritizing workplace safety by enforcing safety regulations and procedures across all shipyard operations.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and training programs for shipyard workers.
- Investigating and addressing safety incidents promptly.
- Monitoring production costs and identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Managing budgets for each shipbuilding project and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Leading and motivating a team of production supervisors, foreman and skilled workers.
- Providing clear direction and support to ensure efficient team collaboration.
- Regularly communicating project Status updates to senior management, clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Preparing comprehensive reports in production progress, quality metrics and cost analysis. KEY SKILLS :

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Technical skills in Marine Structures and vessel Design.
