Position: Behavioral Counselor As a Behavioral Counselor based in Nagpur, you will be crucial in supporting children’s mental health and well-being. Your responsibilities will include: Core Responsibilities:
- Assessments & Counseling: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized intervention plans, and provide counseling services to students.
- Training & Support: Guide counseling psychologists on assessment techniques.
- Referral Services: Provide specialized support referrals to students and parents.
- On-Site School Support: Act as an on-site counselor for school clients across Nagpur.
- Compliance & Reporting: Generate reports compliant with India's national board requirements.
- Academic Guidance: Assist students with course selection and exam preparation.
- Program Implementation: Lead SEEL-based programs for students, parents, and teachers.
- Workshops: Conduct workshops on stress management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Behavior Management: Develop behavior management plans, collaborating with teachers and parents.
- Collaborate closely with school management, students, and parents to provide academic and emotional support.
- Assist in compliance matters and client guidance.
- Support business team in client pitches.
- Experience: Minimum 0-1 years as a school psychologist or counselor.
- Education: MA/M.Sc in Psychology or related field.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with India's school board requirements.
- Expertise: Ability to address mental health challenges of mainstream and special needs children.
- Additional Skills: Career counseling experience preferred.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, fluent in English, Hindi, and local languages.
- Location: Based in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
