Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Person in Charge to lead our social care initiatives. This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services, ensuring compliance with TUSLA regulations, and supporting our team in providing exceptional care to clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social care programs that meet community needs.
- Lead, train, and support a team of social care professionals.
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs and services.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advocate for best practices in social care.
- Bachelor’s in Social Care at level 7 or above
- Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in social care at management level, within the last 5 years within the children settings
- Strong knowledge of social care policies, procedures, and TUSLA legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Proficiency in computer usage, teams, excel, reports generation, staff rota, etc.
