Responsibilities

  1. Conceive, develop, and launch market leading products and services and strategically plan and manage the entire product portfolio.
  2. Develop short & long-term product roadmaps, inclusive of functional perspective of evolving features/capabilities, consolidated views of related technology activities, & business case analysis.
  3. Collate client feedback/segmentation analysis, overall industry/market trends & regulatory intelligence gathering to drive product & procedure enhancements.
  4. Develop & communicate product strategy, roadmap prioritization, P&L management, and cost & revenue analyses. Design & execute actions to reduce costs/manual processes, enhance revenues, and maximize profitability.
  5. Drive efficiency – Provide leadership/design end-to-end solutions to meet business & client objectives.
  6. Own product life cycles from development to launch. Look for ways to innovate upon the existing products. Ensure that ongoing product innovation and development meets strategic and financial objectives.
  7. Establish and conduct management processes – product management meetings, monthly internal financial reviews, and weekly Operations, Technology and Sales meetings.
  8. Ensure a pristine risk and control environment and lead Continuity of Business efforts. Oversee all aspects of product-risk-related projects and initiatives. Represent business in all internal and external audit discussions.
  9. Take part in effort with Operations and Technology to digitize existing products to gain efficiency and market expansion.
  10. Participate & lead in internal partnership meetings & discussions, cooperating with, responding to, and remediating findings related to audits, vendor management, compliance with regulatory & compliance issues/updates, and risk management.
  11. Partner with cross-functional teams (including risk, legal, AML, technology, QA, design, marketing, etc.) to execute on initiatives.
  12. Develop and enhance customer-centric product delivery processes.
  13. Support development and implementation of a product management strategy according to the company strategy, set goals, and initiate measures to reach these goals and to improve the overall section’s performance.
  14. Be responsible for a result-oriented management and development of people and resources, including provision of a strong day-to-day leadership presence involving resource allocation, monitoring, reporting, and conducting regular staff meetings.
  15. Initiate, develop, implement, and ensure adherence of policies and procedures.
  16. Build and implement Product Marketing/Branding Strategy.
  17. Be responsible for all product related issues within the whole organization, in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
  1. Solid partnering skills, including organization understanding (working seamlessly across formal and informal channels) and balancing aggressive drive with consensus building and listening.
  2. Knowledge of the processes necessary to develop, roll-out and manage products in order to support successful banking and financial product lifecycles.
  3. Knowledge of the regulatory environment and competitive situation.
  4. Professional know-how necessary to plan and manage budgets, run a department, campaign, or project.
  5. Knowledge of skills associated with the tools and techniques of planning and running organization projects and processes.
  6. Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology.
