Athboy Community Childcare has an opening for two Childcare Practitioners. Athboy Community Childcare has been open for over 20 years. We provide a high quality, child-centred, fun and secure environment for children from 6 months to 13 years. We extended our service in January 2025 and are looking for two new staff to join our team.
Early Years & After School Practitioners – Full-time and Part-time
Hours:- Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Part-time: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- A recognised qualification, minimum level 5 in QQI Early Years and Education.
- At least 1 years’ experience working in Early Years sector.
- Knowledge of implementing Aistear and Síolta Frameworks in an Early Years setting.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Up to date First Aid and manual handling certificates are desirable.
- Working with a highly skilled team who have years of experience.
- Low turnover of staff.
- An extra day’s holiday for attending staff meetings.
- Minimum of 20% discount for staff children.
- Continuous mandatory CPD paid by the company.
