Project Engineer - Wastewater Design

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with expertise in wastewater design to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the planning, design, and delivery of wastewater treatment and network projects, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and network infrastructure.
• Prepare feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Compile specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients and contractors.
• Oversee the preparation of drawings and other project inputs.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements:

• A relevant third-level engineering degree (minimum Level 8).
• Ideally, 5 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years specifically in wastewater design.
• Demonstrated professional and technical expertise in wastewater engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software.
