Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across corporate, leisure, and MICE segments. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong network, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  1. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event organizers.
  2. Proactively source new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research.
  3. Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to promote Raffles & Fairmont Doha.
  4. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue across rooms, F&B, and events.

Revenue Generation & Strategy:

  1. Achieve and exceed sales targets by optimizing sales opportunities in corporate, leisure, and MICE segments.
  2. Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to ensure optimal pricing and inventory management.
  3. Analyze competitor trends, market conditions, and guest feedback to refine sales strategies.
  4. Participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, and industry events to increase brand visibility.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
  2. Negotiate and close high-value contracts while maintaining brand positioning.
  3. Handle client inquiries efficiently and provide tailored solutions.
  4. Ensure seamless coordination between clients and operational teams for exceptional guest experiences.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  1. Work closely with the Marketing, Events, and Revenue teams to develop targeted promotions and campaigns.
  2. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
  3. Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, pipeline management, and sales conversions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  2. Minimum 4-6 years of sales experience in luxury hotels or hospitality.
  3. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  4. Proven ability to develop business and achieve revenue targets.
  5. Deep understanding of corporate, MICE, and leisure market segments.
  6. Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales management tools.
  7. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
