Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Master and Construction schedule.
  • Generate Monthly (MPR), Weekly (WPR), and Daily (DPR) reports on operational activities.
  • Develop an internal schedule to identify and track major milestones to achieve the project completion date.
  • Generate analysis reports and S-curve narrative reports for client and management review.
  • Monitor and update project schedule on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Establish Progress Measurement System (PMS) and prepare Deliverable Status Registers.
  • Coordinate work between disciplines and subcontractors.
  • Identify risks and plan risk responses.
  • Plan and coordinate materials and resources.
  • Conduct critical path analysis.
  • Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Develop and update resource histogram weekly or monthly as required.
  • Prepare project cash flow and actual comparison.
  • Prepare look-ahead schedule.
  • Study and analyze planned progress vs actual progress.
  • Prepare recovery schedule to catch up to the completion date.
  • Prepare Progress Payment Certificate (PPC) and Request for Invoice (RFI).
  • Review subcontractor PPC and invoices.
  • Prepare tender schedule.
  • Conduct project costing.
  • Execute all cost control aspects of the project.
  • Maintain the cost trend register and prepare monthly forecasts and variance logs.
  • Collect and arrange construction cost data and establish a sound expense filing system and database.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely project cost reports verifying cost performance against plan and identifying areas of potential budget overrun while implementing corrective action.
  • Calculate man-hours for each project and evaluate budgeted man-hours vs actual man-hours.
  • Produce Project Planning closeout report and productivity calculation, and prepare project claims for extension of time (EOT).
  • Plan manpower.
Qualifications : Bachelor's in Engineering or any other equivalent discipline.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Certificate in Primavera and MS Projects.
Additional Information : Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of overall experience in handling EPC Oil & Gas Projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Planning / Project Control / Project Management.
  • Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 and MS Projects.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project financing and cost control principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good health, environment, and safety management (HSE) knowledge, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
Skills & Professional Requirements:
  • Primavera P6.
  • Microsoft Projects.
  • Microsoft Office Excel (advanced), Office, and PowerPoint.
  • MS Outlook (Email Communication).
  • Oracle.
