VIEPANGEO Site Commissioning Engineer - Turn Over Package MW

SIDEM is executing very large scale projects in the UAE for seawater desalination. For the selected candidate, it will be the opportunity to work in a challenging technical, international, and multicultural environment with professional engineers in many disciplines on large magnitude projects with short delivery time for a desalination business with high technical skills. The Turn Over Package (TOP) Engineer is responsible for:

• Managing the internal turnover process of systems and subsystems between construction and commissioning on site under the responsibility of the Commissioning Manager.
• Reviewing TOP documentation.
• Implementing control tool for weekly updates.
• Providing forecast/schedule turnover according to completeness status.
• Handling walkdowns with clients and compiling punch lists; conducting weekly turnover meetings.

Qualifications: Educational background: Professional engineer in general engineering or process mechanical chemistry and/or biochemistry. First experience (including internships): At least a year of water field experience or energy or plant construction and/or operation. Skills: Organized, rigorous, technically skilled, autonomous, and willing to learn. Language: Fluency in English is a must; Arabic is a plus. Other: Proactive and responsible; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
