The State Sport Centres Trust is seeking an accomplished People & Culture executive to lead our human resources strategy across our prestigious sporting venues. As our General Manager People & Culture, you'll lead strategic workforce initiatives that support our people to achieve excellence in all aspects of their work. Working across our multiple world-class facilities - the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Lakeside Stadium, State Basketball Centre, and State Netball and Hockey Centre, you'll develop innovative people solutions that support diverse operational needs while maintaining public sector excellence. This executive role encompasses the full spectrum of strategic human resources leadership. The successful candidate will bring significant senior HR leadership experience, preferably with extensive experience in public sector environments. Your strategic mindset and exceptional stakeholder management skills will be essential in navigating the unique challenges of our operating environment. While technical expertise is important, we're equally interested in your ability to drive cultural change, inspire teams, and demonstrate an understanding of, and a commitment to, the role we play in both community sport and elite athletic development. Based at Albert Park, you'll join an executive team committed to venue management excellence and community engagement. Your contribution will extend beyond traditional HR boundaries, influencing how we deliver outstanding sporting experiences to all Victorians. Help us create an environment where our people ensure our facilities remain world-class destinations for both community and competitive sport.Required skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources management, business, law or related disciplines
- Extensive experience in HR roles, including at senior and executive levels
- Current Victorian Working with Children's Check (Employee)
