Growth Marketing Lead - Fuel Appetise's Rocket to the Top! Are you a data-driven, creative, and strategic growth marketer who's ready to make waves? We're growing fast and need a Growth Marketing Lead to take the wheel, shaping how we attract, retain, and delight both consumers and B2B customers. This is a rare opportunity to own and scale growth strategies for a high-impact platform at the intersection of tech, food, and data. You'll be instrumental in driving both our B2C app adoption and B2B SaaS growth across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond.

  • Turbocharge Growth Through Innovation
  • Develop and execute full-funnel performance marketing strategies across channels like Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Build high-converting customer acquisition funnels for B2B clients and B2C users, optimising for efficiency and scalability
  • Identify and implement growth loops and flywheels that drive advocacy, organic growth, and repeat users
  • Experiment relentlessly: test new ideas, run A/B and multivariate tests, and uncover insights to scale what works
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Brand Marketing, and Customer Success teams to design compelling ad creatives, landing pages, and nurture flows
  • Launch and optimise email marketing campaigns to re-activate dormant users, convert leads, and deepen loyalty
  • Build automated retargeting campaigns and personalised journeys that move users through the funnel with ease
  • Launch initiatives to improve retention, reduce churn, and turn users into brand advocates
  • Segment audiences to deliver tailored messaging and experiences that maximise relevance
  • Track, analyse, and optimise core metrics like CAC, LTV, ROAS, and churn rates to drive better outcomes
  • Lead growth initiatives in new regions, including market-specific campaigns and tailored approaches
  • Discover, test, and scale emerging channels, from influencer partnerships to collaborations with FMCG brands
  • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, experimenting with innovative tools, tactics, and platforms
  • Develop and execute campaigns tailored to Appetise's B2B audience, leveraging channels like LinkedIn and Google Ads
  • Create high-impact landing pages, lead magnets, and retargeting flows to attract and nurture FMCG leaders
  • Craft messaging and content that resonates with our ICP, addressing their needs and pain points with precision
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Brand Marketing teams to ensure growth efforts align with company goals
  • Collaborate to enhance Appetise's value proposition, uncover actionable insights, and influence long-term strategies
  • Be the voice of the customer, whether it's a home cook or a global FMCG brand, ensuring we deliver unparalleled value

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Proven Track Record: 5+ years of driving growth in SaaS, consumer apps, or FMCG, with demonstrable success in scaling user acquisition and revenue
  • Performance Marketing Mastery: Deep expertise in running paid campaigns (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn) with a focus on efficiency and ROI
  • Data-driven decision-making: Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and marketing automation platforms. Strong ability to use data to inform and optimise strategies
  • Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft compelling campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences while scaling growth initiatives
  • Experimentation Mindset: A/B testing, CRO, and scaling successful experiments are second nature to you
  • SEO and Organic Growth Expertise: Strong understanding of content marketing, referral programs, and organic growth strategies
  • Retention and Lifecycle Marketing: Experience crafting email campaigns and user journeys that drive engagement and LTV
  • Customer Insight Champion: Exceptional ability to understand customer personas, behaviour, and motivations, translating them into actionable strategies
  • Startup and High-Growth Experience: Familiarity with scrappy, fast-moving environments, using innovation and efficiency to maximise results
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and inspiring communicator, capable of building alignment across teams and external partners
