- Foster and maintain relationships from proposal preparation to managing financial and technical aspects of delivering small to large-scale projects.
- Undertake and manage geotechnical investigation and design projects from proposal preparation to fieldwork, analysis, and reporting.
- Support the delivery of dam surveillance, safety inspections, risk assessments, and development of safety management systems.
- Use your interpretation and design skills to contribute to geotechnical projects predominantly in the energy transition, mining industry, and transport industry.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team throughout project delivery.
- Drive business development through successful delivery of your projects.
- Promote a safe working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazards.
- A Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology degree - Postgraduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourably.
- Must have experience in geotechnical engineering/engineering geology (local experience preferred).
- Experience and passion for tailings storage facility and water dam management.
- A successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projects.
- Track record of promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering to create value for clients and their projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation/review of written technical reports and client communications.
- Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Natural talent in promoting a safe working culture by identifying and eliminating safety hazards.
