Business Analyst - System Implementation (Financial background) We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the Workiva implementation project. Having completed the P1 and P2 implementations , we are now moving forward with the next phase, and we need a BA who can engage with financial accountants and understand the intricacies of financial data across monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting , ideally with experience working on balance sheet-type implementations in an ERP system . A deep understanding of accounting terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with accountants is essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the continuation of the Workiva implementation , ensuring that the system is configured and aligned with the company’s financial reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and financial accountants, ensuring that the financial data is accurately represented and processed in Workiva. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that accounting needs are met in the system.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure that financial data (balance sheets, P&L statements, etc.) is correctly integrated into Workiva, providing accurate, reliable, and compliant reporting.
• Leverage your experience with balance sheet-type implementations in an ERP system to support the ongoing configuration and refinement of Workiva, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Be deeply involved in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial cycles. Help ensure that Workiva is used effectively in these cycles for accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage communications and expectations between financial accountants, IT teams, and other stakeholders involved in the implementation process.
• Document financial requirements, changes in accounting processes, and the necessary configurations for the Workiva system. Ensure that processes are well-documented for future reference and audits.

• Accounting Background : Either qualified or unqualified accountant with practical experience working in financial accounting.
• Experience with ERP Implementations : Strong background in balance sheet-type implementations within an ERP system.
• Workiva Implementation Experience : Previous involvement in Workiva implementations (P1 and P2), particularly with financial data integration.
• Financial Cycle Knowledge : Deep understanding of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting cycles , and how data is managed throughout these periods.
• Accounting Terminology Fluency : The ability to speak the same language as financial accountants , ensuring clear communication of requirements and solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Experience engaging with finance teams and technical teams to align on requirements and deliverables.
