Sales Engineer - Water Treatment Equipment
Job details
We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer – Water Treatment Equipment to drive sales and business growth in the wastewater treatment, effluent treatment (ETP), sewage treatment (STP), and industrial water purification sector . The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, industry knowledge, and a proven track record in sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, approach, and develop new business opportunities in water treatment equipment sales.
- Establish relationships with industrial clients, EPC contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable water treatment solutions.
- Technical Consultation & Solution Selling:
- Provide technical support and present customized solutions for ETP/STP/RO/UF/Anaerobic Digesters plants.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients.
- Suggest the right water treatment equipment (pumps, filters, membranes, dosing systems, etc.) based on customer needs.
- Sales Planning & Execution:
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and quotations.
- Follow up on sales inquiries, tenders, and negotiations to close deals.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Provide feedback to the management on product improvement and customer requirements.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address post-sales technical queries and coordinate with service teams.
- Reporting & Coordination:
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, design, service) to ensure smooth execution of orders.
