About the Role: We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, oversee task coordination, and actively contribute to the successful execution of project objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Taking responsibility for leading the daily stand-up meeting.
  • Accurately estimate time for tasks and phases, monitor timelines, and make adjustments to meet project deadlines.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders to align expectations and goals.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays and disruptions.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and timelines using appropriate verification techniques, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and milestones through structured communication plans, managing expectations effectively.
  • Coordinate project teams, including internal staff and external vendors, fostering collaboration, maintaining morale, and resolving conflicts.
  • Oversee the quality control process to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards, with a focus on timely delivery.
  • Efficiently allocate and forecast resources based on project timelines and workload, ensuring the availability of necessary skills and capabilities.
  • Apply agile practices, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to enhance project adaptability and responsiveness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations around timelines and ensuring satisfaction with project progress.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, document lessons learned, and share best practices across the organization.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standards.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for project team members to enhance their skills, particularly in time management and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans for unexpected delays or disruptions, ensuring quick and effective responses to keep projects on track.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and IT project management is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Experience in mentoring, team building, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Lean.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and IT Security Compliance.
  • Experience with process automation, business intelligence tools, and financial management.
