IT Section Leader - PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, PLSQL.

The Opportunity : The Goodyear Tire and Rubber company is seeking a motivated individual to meet growing business needs. You will work with a cross-functional and cross-continental group of software developers and engineers who create, enhance, and support applications that are key to the Goodyear Global Operations and Technology community. The IT Section Leader provides leadership and direction to a Technical Team (Regional or Global) responsible for a functional area or technology, delivering superior customer service and executing of the department's objectives by executing projects and support activities. This is a Technical Leader role, with 50% of time spent on managerial activities and 50% as an IT Practitioner. Primary Responsibilities

• You will successfully perform hands on technical operations and activities to meet department objectives and consumer needs.
• You will plan, coordinate, and schedule assignments and projects with subordinates and participate in establishing project plans (strategic and tactical). Prioritize project plans based on business needs and availability of resources.
• You will monitor project development and communicate project progression frequently to upper management, staff, and customers.
• You will perform managerial activities (IE: Hiring, Performance Management Processes, Associate Development, Department Staffing, Budgeting, Communicating, and Enforcing Policies and Procedures). Determine specific resources and skills required for ongoing activities and provide leadership to staff on all projects within the area of responsibility.
• You will work in CET time zone hours. Willingness to conduct changes outside of the business working hours.

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business or in lieu of degree 11 years of IT experience
• 6 or more years of Technical experience in a variety of IT disciplines gaining a conceptual knowledge of Information Technologies and methodologies.
• Minimum 6 years of experience developing with PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, PLSQL.

• Advanced knowledge of the IT field and in-depth knowledge and technical expertise of one specialty area.
• Good presentation skills, meeting leadership, and facilities skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal.
