Senior Engineer (Design)-Viaduct

Inviting applications for Senior Engineer (Design)-Viaduct for our ongoing projects of general consultant (GC) for phase II corridor from JLN stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad of Kochi metro rail project. Responsibilities: He will broadly participate in the following major tasks:

• He will review and approve (in consultation with K1 design expert) the preliminary and final designs of viaduct / station.
• Review and approve detailed designs and 'Good for Construction' drawings prepared by DDC.
• Review and approval to modifications in approved plans, drawings and methodology that may be necessitated to change in field conditions during construction.
• Review and approval of designs and drawings of temporary works during construction of the project. Review and approval of "As build drawings".
• He will broadly participate in the following major task:
• Review & supplement the detailed project report/concept report and all design reports as available
• Assistance to KMRL
• in selection of Contractors/DDC and other services
• Assistance in preparation of preliminary design and tender for elevated portions/stations and service buildings
• Review & proof checking of the detailed design and construction design
• Ensure he/ she must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
• Each individual had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.

• Phd./ Post Graduate (ME/M.Tech) in Structural Engg. from a reputed institution
• Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 10 years experience should be in the design of elevated Metro Rail projects / elevated rail based transit; and should also possess design experience in at least one elevated metro rail project including foundation design, Steel, Concrete (Precast & Cast in Situ).

• Work experience in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Strong team player and effective team leader.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
