Full-Stack Developer (OpenEdge + Web/UI)

Job type : Remote We are seeking an experienced OpenEdge Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our business-critical application while contributing to the modernization of our technology stack. Position Overview You will work with our Multipub product, designing and implementing projects and new client deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain applications using Progress OpenEdge ABL (Advanced Business Language)- Design, code, test, and debug complex programs - Optimize existing applications for maximum speed and scalability - Implement database design and modifications using Progress Database - Collaborate with our Product team to translate requirements into technical specifications - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards - Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation - Support the migration of legacy systems to modern architectures - Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience with Progress OpenEdge Development (Version 11.x or higher)- Strong proficiency in Progress ABL/4GL programming - Experience with Progress Database administration and performance tuning - Familiarity with source control systems - Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts - Experience with Agile development methodologies - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Progress Dynamics/WebSpeed - Experience with WinForms - Familiarity with Docker containerization - Experience with private cloud platforms - Experience building or maintaining audience and subscription management systems
