As our Data Engineer, you will be working with a collaborative team to build and maintain our data infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and optimising data pipelines
- Supporting and enhancing our data warehousing solutions
- Writing efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Collaborating internally to understand and meet data needs
- Continuously learning and applying the latest data engineering techniques and tools
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and/or Python programming (bonus points if you know both!)
- Passion for Data: A genuine interest in data warehousing and creating efficient data solutions
- Problem Solver: A detail-oriented thinker who loves turning complex problems into elegant solutions
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Experience: While formal experience is not essential, your tertiary qualifications and relevant personal projects showcasing your skills will make you stand out
