About the Role You will provide leadership to workgroups of Electrical Distribution Network including field supervisors and field team members, providing role clarity and direction, and empowering the team to deliver outstanding performance. Optimise the delivery of works to achieve excellence in delivery of projects within safety, quality, cost, timeliness, scope, and client satisfaction. While this is a predominantly office-based role, there will be times of work/travel within regional QLD. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the complete life cycle of project delivery including the day-to-day operations of regional delivery teams to deliver Electrical Distribution Networks Powerlines maintenance and construction works
• Foster and encourage a safe and positive culture
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist the operation manager to achieve the business plans, budgets, targets, reports and forecasts
• Track and monitor multiple projects or portfolios of work
• Ensure any impacts related to cost, schedule, scope, issues and risk are reported and/or resolved in a timely manner
• Lead, monitor, evaluate and develop services and performance, with a focus on continuous improvements

Required Skills and Experience

• Desirable but not essential Electrical Distribution Network experience. The position would be perfect for someone with overall project management skills from the construction, mining, infrastructure series workgroups
• Sound business acumen, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Sufficient hands-on operational experience to build and maintain relationships and credibility across stakeholder groups
• Planning, resourcing and scheduling experience
