Sales Engineer

About the Role Reporting to the Sales Manager Industrial, we are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our fantastic team. You will be responsible for sales of industrial piping systems and valves for the Auckland and Northland region. Your focus will be on industrial customers and the range of products are valves for water and wastewater reticulation, industrial plastics, and piping systems. We are ideally looking for someone who has:

1. Sales or application experience of industrial products or systems. Preferably valves and pipe systems - desirable.
2. Strong commercial nous.
3. Hands-on experience managing a Regional Sales Plan.
4. Prior experience working with councils and local authorities would be advantageous.
5. Experience using a CRM system – desirable.
6. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
7. A real customer focus and people approach.
8. A drive to succeed and passion for our products and company.
9. Excellent work ethic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
