The Knowledge Transfer and Training Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge and skills. This role will play a critical part in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge to perform their roles efficiently and safely. The Knowledge Management Lead has the responsibility in training and development and knowledge transfer supporting the development and growth of College Park Operations. Within the scope of Knowledge Transfer, this person has the responsibility to develop the requirements for a Knowledge Management environment in College Park Operations delivering a best in class Learning Management System. The Knowledge Management team will partner with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver training and create systems for improvement and knowledge management. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement training programs and materials for new and existing employees.
  2. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure critical information is shared across teams.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training content.
  4. Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Support the onboarding process for new hires by providing necessary training and resources.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and knowledge transfer.
  10. Enable a Knowledge Management team who are responsible for preparing, organizing and monitoring of site training sessions for new and current employees for various technical training topics.
  11. Ensure the team works closely with all College Park departments to apply knowledge of adult learning principles and biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical production to the development of tools and standards within the Training and Document Management System to promote and lead Procedures and Work Instructions which promote ‘ease of use’.
  12. Ensure the team assists with the development and implementation of effective methodologies to ensure consistent approaches and standards to Structured Problem Solving and Human Error Prevention.
  13. Ensure the team manages and maintains a compliant system of personnel training files, administration of learning management system (LMS) and delivery of classroom training, development of site training plans, supporting the development of effective implementation of OJT programmes.
  14. Ensure the team enhances the Learning management environment through its implementation and are a super-user so as to maximize its use across the sites.
  15. Ensure the team coordinates the development of training materials including e-Learnings to support efficient and effective learning where possible.
  16. Ensure the team manages vendor relationships for externally sourced programmes.
  17. Ensure the team measures and reports metrics to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the Skill Transfer and other Improvement Programmes to the SLT and other relevant parties.
Essential Qualification
  1. 10 years plus experience in Operations / Learning or Training management experience within biopharmaceutical / pharmaceutical or related industry with 2-4 years direct training.
  2. Strong understanding of biotechnology / pharmaceutical processes and regulatory requirements.
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  4. Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
  5. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Proficiency in using training software and tools.
  8. Ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation.
  9. Proven ability to lead and influence change in a fast moving organisation.
  10. Proven track record in implementing best practice methodologies.
  11. Demonstrate leadership, managerial and decision making.
  12. Strong IT awareness.
  13. Maintain knowledge of industry trends in leadership development.
  14. Establish, execute, and monitor the rollout of leadership development programs as required.
  15. Build common leadership and professional skills for all employees.
  16. Ad hoc projects as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree In Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Education, or a related field required and preference given to candidates with advanced studies in learning and development, instructional design, operational excellence methodology or risk management.
  2. Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.
