JRAP O'Meara Solicitors LLP are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their growing team as part of a dedicated new role in the Commercial Department. Key responsibilities:
- Assist in due diligence processes for transactions, including document collection, review, and organisation.
- Management and organisation of corporate legal documentation, such as shareholder agreements, sale and purchase agreements and general corporate governance documentation.
- Prepare filings for the Companies Registration Office (CRO), Táilte Eireann and other regulatory bodies as required.
- Liaise with clients, third-party professionals, and regulatory bodies, maintaining effective communication.
- Maintain and update corporate records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support the team in general administrative tasks, including managing client files, preparing reports, and attending client meetings.
- Stay up to date with changes in corporate law and regulations.
- Educated to degree or relevant diploma level or a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a legal or similar environment.
- Knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, and business structures advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and familiarity with legal management software.
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
