The Australian College of Kuwait seeks successful and experienced engineering faculty members at lecturer and assistant professor level starting as early as January 2014, to join the Department of Petroleum Engineering. The positions report to the Head of Petroleum Engineering department.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Ph.D. in the area of specialization from an internationally recognized university;
• Previous university teaching experience;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• The ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Experience in research, consultancy, and professional activities;
• Record of peer-reviewed publications;
• Membership of professional and/or academic associations.

The Australian College of Kuwait has been established under Kuwait Law 34/2000, governing private universities in Kuwait, to provide internationally recognized and accredited education and training to the Business, Engineering, and Maritime sectors. It was licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education under Amiri Decree 141/2003 and commenced operation in October 2004.
