Assistant Shift Supervisor

1. Responsibility for the picking/packing and distribution of loose case pick and also FP dispatch when covering.
2. Enforce and promote Health and Safety and ensure all staff members are trained to complete their tasks.
3. Responsible for ensuring all orders are loaded efficiently, correctly and within line with Health and Safety and Technical requirements.
4. Working closely with other shifts/departments to ensure Warehouse and Operations runs smoothly.
5. Responsible for Housekeeping across all areas of the Warehouse when covering shift.
6. Reporting to Shift Manager on a daily basis.
7. Provide support to ensure Service levels are met, 99.5%.
8. Accountability for all stock in warehouse- replenish into locations and correct rotation when covering shift.
9. All equipment must be monitored and all damages recorded and reported.
10. When required, collating and sending daily reports to Management/other departments.
11. Provide daily support to Shift Supervisor and Manager in all areas to ensure the operations run safely and correctly.
12. Health and Safety focused.
13. Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
14. Ability to work in high pressure and busy environment.
15. Working to deadlines.
16. Highly organised.
17. Flexible.
18. Team player.
19. Fork truck/PPT license and experience.

Experience:

1. Cold stores/warehousing experience.
2. Excel experience.
3. Experience working within an automated warehouse.
4. Supervisory experience.
