Overview

This position is responsible for managing the Ground Operations Scheduling department personnel. The primary responsibility is to schedule the day-to-day operational activities for Passenger Service Representatives and Loadmasters. Coordinate all travel from/to the gateway airport and ensure all Company passenger and cargo flights have adequate staff. Additionally, the supervision of the Ground Operations Scheduling department assures cost-effective utilization of personnel and supports the internal and external customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Ground Operations Scheduling department daily activities, including daily review of flight schedule, assigning Passenger Service Representatives (PSR) and Loadmasters daily duties, making regular changes according to operational requirements, and notifying the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure the safe and reliable execution of the Company’s flight operations requirements.
  • Monitor and maximize efficiency of PSR and Loadmaster utilization.
  • Ensure passenger aircraft flights are appropriately staffed with Passenger Service Representatives.
  • Ensure cargo aircraft flights are appropriately staffed with Loadmasters, as applicable.
  • Develop PSRs and Loadmasters schedule and vacation bids, and publish the awards accordingly.
  • Manage the Ground Operations Scheduling department’s administrative duties and activities.
  • Develop the Ground Operations Scheduling department monthly schedule and distribute it accordingly.
  • Recommend and participate in generating Company policies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with vendors’ management to ensure proper staff (contractors) coverage for all flights.
  • Ensure that the appropriate names and payloads are entered in the AIMS system.
  • Coordinate all travel and transportation requirements using the CTC travel agency system and/or other modes of transportation, as required by the operation.
  • Track and submit biweekly payroll for Passenger Service Representatives and Loadmasters.
  • Ensure Passenger Service Representatives’ and Loadmasters’ monthly expense reports are submitted, accurate, and forwarded to HDQ.
  • Manage the Ground Operations Scheduling department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain a close working relationship and coordination with the GCC, HDQ Coordinators, Loadmaster Management, and Training teams.
  • Work in conjunction with Ground Operations Controller and the Senior Director Ground Operations Standards, Training and Compliance in the development of the annual budget.
  • Ensure the accuracy of personal profile records of the PSRs and Loadmasters in the Monarch scheduling system.
  • Train Ground Operations Schedulers.
  • Perform periodical audits for the Ground Operations Scheduling department.
  • Handle other special projects as required by the Company.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with aviation operations, scheduling, dispatch, transportation, or logistics sectors.
  • Ability to work effectively with other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must possess personal integrity and administrative skills to handle changing regulations and requirements.
  • Must be well organized and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Must demonstrate the desire and the ability to work in a collaborative team-based, fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Be able to communicate at a managerial level with superiors and Company Senior Management.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of supervisor or management level experience.
  • Aviation/airline experience is a plus.
Salary Range: $73,000-$98,500 Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, relevant experience/level, and skillset.
