Director - Compliance

stc Kuwait is actively recruiting for the role of Director - Compliance. In this role, the Director of Compliance will establish and oversee a comprehensive compliance management program that aligns with current and future services. This role includes ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, assessing the impact of compliance obligations, and proposing necessary amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement detailed compliance management programs that align with organizational standards.
2. Establish policies that encourage the reporting of fraud or violations without fear of retaliation.
3. Lead internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance procedures.
4. Communicate regulatory decisions and updates to business units.
5. Create and approve compliance tracking guidelines to monitor regulatory requirements.
6. Assess and improve the organization's governance system.
7. Ensure that governance practices align with local and international regulations.
8. Regularly update governance protocols and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
9. Analyze regulatory decisions to identify and communicate compliance requirements to stakeholders.
10. Investigate claims of violations and prepare responses for regulatory authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role.
3. Experience managing teams.
4. Fluent in Arabic and English.
