Evidence of Knowledge:

  • Evidence of up-to-date knowledge of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases.
  • Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning.
  • Meticulous record keeping of assessment and intervention strategies.
  • Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
Experience:
  • At least two years teaching IGCSE.
  • Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements.
  • Evidence of good personal relationships/team player.
  • Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour.
Educational:
  • Qualified teacher with a bachelor's degree in Education.
  • Attested qualifications through Quadrabay Company.
  • Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
Special Requirements:
  • Applicant's compliance to supporting and upholding the school’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.
  • A Criminal Record Disclosure will be required prior to appointment.
  • Excellent and unequivocal references.
