Job details
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing services and subcontracts in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor environment.
- Good knowledge of the procurement processes specific to EPC projects.
- Proven experience in managing tender processes for both offshore and onshore projects.
- Strong ability to negotiate General Terms and Conditions (GTCs) effectively with subcontractors and service providers.
- Knowledge and experience in chartering (preferable), particularly related to marine services and logistics for EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of contractual terms and the ability to negotiate deviations in line with project requirements and the main contract terms.
- Experience in managing complex contract negotiations and mitigating contractual risks.
- Ability to handle complex order revisions and resolve claims efficiently, ensuring alignment with project schedules and cost objectives.
- Expertise in preparing comprehensive economic and commercial offers, including detailed tabulation and analysis of bids during the tender phase.
- Proficient in clarifying discrepancies and ensuring offers align with project budgets.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough due diligence on subcontractors to assess their financial stability, performance, and compliance with industry standards
- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and mitigating project disruptions
