SUMMARY OF THE ROLE As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible to administer and execute Accounts Payable transactions through timely and accurate processing, matching, coding and updating into relevant systems in accordance with company policy and procedures in order to provide regular, up-to-date, and accurate information on status or deviations. This position is based in Yanbu and reports to the Accounts Payables Manager. Responsibilities:

Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and effective internal controls are in place.
Validate supplier invoices in accordance with Jotun policies and ensuring availability and archiving of adequate supporting documentation.
Carry out suppliers and bank reconciliations with our books of accounts. Identify, understand and resolve reconciling items.
Handle all supplier payments for local and overseas vendors by preparing, checking, verifying, posting, and signing all payment vouchers to ensure compliance to payment agreed terms.
Assist and comply with all VAT regulations as per local requirements if required.
Support by verifying and analysing financial data and providing relevant reports as required.
Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties like banks and auditors to meet audit requirements and adhere to local rules and regulations.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
0 - 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance.
Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.
