About the Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our Services Middle East team in our Hyderabad office. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the user experience for our innovative digital banking products. You will be involved in the entire design process, from ideation to prototyping and testing. You will work closely with cross-functional client-facing teams, including Backbase team members: project managers, business analysts, solution architects and engineers. Externally, you will work closely with senior and leadership-level client stakeholders to deliver user-centered design solutions that meet their business goals. This is a hybrid position, requiring a mix of in-office and remote work, while being flexible for client travel. As a client-facing UX Designer, you will be a key point of contact for our clients, leading workshops, gathering requirements, and presenting design solutions. This requires excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities:

  • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
  • Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on designs.
  • Lead client workshops to gather requirements and present design solutions.
  • Confidently present and explain design decisions to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest UX design trends and best practices.
  • Support development and QA teams regarding designs.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, with experience in a client-facing role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Solid understanding of UX research methodologies and usability testing principles.
  • Experience working with design systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to effectively convey design specifications and rationale to the technical members of the team.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience working in the financial, consultancy or technology industry.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
