Job description: Responsible for writing and coding individual programs from specific requirements The Web Developer will be responsible for creating and designing clients’ websites according to specifications. Core competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to write pseudo code and functional flow charts to depict technology-independent solutions.

• Ability to quickly identify challenges and bubble them up to the top management (if and when necessary) and provide solutions as opposed to problems.

• Holds self to the highest levels of professional code of conduct, ethics, and values, always presenting true information.

• 4-6 Years of developer experience and/or meets the following criteria. Expert knowledge as a software developer in multiple technologies.
• Function independently in medium complexity projects owning a large functionality, or a part of a large project. Zeal to learn, operates outside her/his comfort zone, quickly acquires new skills and performs at a level higher.
• As a Team member. Expected to deliver medium to large complex functionality independently most of the time. Conducts peer reviews, and code inspections and mentors’ peers in programming logic and techniques.
• Independently designs and develops medium to highly complex code segments. On large projects, may require guidance in understanding highly complex customer requirements and functional specs.
• As a Lead on medium and/or multiple small/maintenance projects. Creates technical specifications, low-level design documents, code and unit test plans, and strategies for the entire project.
• Leads development activities for the entire project(s) including writing high-quality code and helping team members meet coding and quality standards. Interpret business requirements and/or functional specifications and write technical documents including low-level design documents and technical specifications. Identifies risks, creates mitigation strategies, and plans, and executes them promptly, keeps all stakeholders and the project manager informed about the progress, as well as escalates to the right levels at the right times (ensuring zero surprises)
• Communicates with all levels of organization, internal, cross-functional, and external, and keeps stakeholders up to date on project development status. Monitor the work done by her/his team members, mentors them to reach the next level, and be accountable for team deliverables
• Identify reusable code segments from the project deliverables and help build internal code libraries Provide development level of effort estimates to the project manager for project scheduling purposes Contribute to process improvements including (but not limited to) coding standards, effective code inspection and review methods/procedures, peer reviews, etc., for quality delivery.
