BaseRock.ai is seeking a talented and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in India. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our cutting-edge AI-powered software quality assurance platform. Responsibilities
- Support sales executives in solution selling to prospects and existing customers
- Plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Model financial business cases for sales opportunities
- Match customer requirements to BaseRock.ai's proposed solutions
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate our unique value proposition
- Manage technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses
- Effectively communicate client needs to our R&D teams for future product enhancements
- Collect and document competitive intelligence
- Provide technical expertise during the sales process and ongoing assistance to clients after transactions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or a technical sales role
- Expertise in Java and JavaScript
- Nice to have:: Understanding of Kotlin, Python, and Go
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies is highly advantageous
- Willingness to travel as needed (25-50% of the time)
- Solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging product demonstrations
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
