  • Designation: Assistant Manager
  • Department: Quality Assurance
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years
  • Location: Gandhinagar
  • Edu. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Inspection:
  • Supervise quality control activities across all production stages.
  • Ensure that raw materials, in-process components, and finished products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Process & Compliance Management:
  • Ensure adherence to ISO, industry regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Assist in audits (internal & external) and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Testing & Reporting:
  • Oversee quality testing, including performance, durability, and safety tests.
  • Maintain quality reports, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Team Supervision & Training:
  • Assist in leading and training the quality assurance team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness among employees.
Supplier & Customer Coordination:
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards for incoming materials.
  • Address customer complaints and work on corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing company.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles .
  • Experience with CMM, SPC, and other quality inspection tools .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
