Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2 years of experience in software testing. The role involves writing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring that the software meets quality standards before release. Key Responsibilities
- Review product requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to develop test cases and scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across various applications.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and enhancements.
- Ensure timely execution of test cases and maintain high test quality.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provide feedback on the user experience and suggest improvements for enhanced usability.
- 2 years of experience in testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience with debugging common issues, such as network latency, UI inconsistencies, and crash reports.
- Network traffic analysis: Experience using Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or Wireshark for network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Postman for API testing and analyzing responses.
- Familiarity with Xcode Instruments and TestFlight for iOS debugging and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools for testing automation, generating test cases, or analyzing large datasets of test results.
- Crash log analysis: Ability to capture, analyze, and report crash logs using tools like Firebase Crashlytics, Xcode Console, and ADB (Android Debug Bridge).
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs is a plus.
- Basic understanding of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
